You're saying Tunde would have stopped it if he hadn't gone down? Not a chance. The ref was happy to let him continue. They were up on the cards and would have taken a home decision.

Great fight if it happens but I would prefer Bivol Beterbiev. Callum Smith has tremendous power at 175, and Beterbiev has regressed at the age of 38.

If you’ve seen Beterbiev’s other fights, he doesn’t win every round, he lost quite a few against Marcus Browne, Gvozdyk for example, and I think Callum Smith could potentially win, although I’d back Beterbiev to pull out the stoppage again.

Would be nice to see Beterbiev back in the UK though definitely.

 

As I said, no point to continue and risk your health if your not going to win the fight.

Fantastic fight. Huge credit to Yarde as he put up a far better fight than I expected and really seemed like he had Artur hurt at times.

Each time though AB showed his fantastic skill and ring IQ to turn the tables and come back stronger to put Yarde under pressure. The way he slipped out of the corners when he looked in trouble was a joy to watch.

Beterbiev proved just how elite he is in that fight and that he's not just a 'puncher' as many wrongly class him. Easily one of the top 3 active fighters right now and hopefully his doubters see that now.

Really enjoyable fight and one which lived up to hype. Credit to both warriors.

Hopefully we get the undisputed fight in Summer as one of best fights which can be made right now.

Even at 38, Beterbiev would do a number on Smith

 

What a fight that was. Superb. Yarde exceeded my expectations, his stock has risen tonight despite losing. Great performance from both.

 

Yarde needs to work on his stamina/fitness. Seems to gas out after a few rounds.
