    This ring looks on the small side to me. I think they did it to help Beterbiev but it might work against J-Park like it did against Madrimov. Even Kabayel had problems keeping Big Bang at bay when he was boxing on the backfoot in round 1.

    Sheeraz is managing to use the ring really well here though. Granted he has a big height advantage and those long arms which makes it easier for him.

    Ya it's really bad.. & to think of the great eras its given us .. Zale Graziano, Benvenutti Griffith, Hagler Hearns, Hopkins Taylor, GGG Canelo, SRR Lamotta... Janibek Sheeraz doesn't quite have that ring to it lol

    The judges had it totally opposite to you. Clean work is no substitute for the difference in activity and Ortiz actually landed just as clean just far more often.

    I think he’s brilliant. Madrimov is hard to look good against. A lot of people say that Ortiz is “basic”, but he’s just beaten a guy who gave Crawford possibly his toughest fight. He’s got a piston of a jab, he’s a natural at cutting off the ring and he didn’t let Madrimovs reluctance to engage pressure him into being reckless. Was a mature performance and he did what was required to win. Seems to have a good engine too.
