Hopefully we'll also have the honor of seeing him violently KO'd.

    War Joe Smith!!!

Not sure how anyone could dislike the guy.

I hope this bout doesn't start at some ungodly hour because I want to see it.

    You're not a Beterbiev guy?

I like him, I just happen to like Gvozdyk and Joe Smith Jr. more.

Copy that. I am betting it is going to be a long night for you, my friend.

I know that it will never, ever happen for a number of reasons, but my dream would be for Beterbiev and Bivol to unify, with the winner picking up the catchweight fight idea against Usyk that they were pushing for Canelo.

Too much of a fantasy scenario, and the whole Russian-Ukrianian thing wouldn't work out. But tell me you wouldn't want to see Beterbiev and Usyk rematch at 201?

Hey, I'm not ruling out a Smith upset, if there's one punch Beterbiev has shown he's susceptible to it's the left hook to the temple. Nikitayev badly stunned him with one in the amateurs and Callum Johnson dropped and hurt him with one. Joe's money punch. If Joe is more sturdy than Johnson, and based on the amount of times I've seen Callum rocked, as opposed to Joe, I'd bet on that being the case. Beterbiev could be the one in for a long night.

As far as an Usyk rematch, he's far too big for that at this point. I can't imagine any outcome other than Usyk by domination and KO.

Only chance I see Smith having here is if he catches Beterbiev cold early and totally sells out in pursuit of the KO. After 4-5 rounds he'll be too battered to mount much offense.
