The fact Browne who refused to give Hot Rod a rematch is taking this in Artur's backyard tells me he believes Beterbiev is not what he once was. I think Artur's age, inactivity, the injuries and him looking so flat against stocky southpaw Deines last time out is the only reason Browne who is an absolute weasel of a man has taken this.

I guess Canadians like their boxing 45 seconds at a time.

I would not be surprised if there is an upset tonight. Beterviev has been showing signs of decline for a number of fights now.

He’s getting up there in age and he’ll be 37 next month. But his power is the last to go, so he’ll still be dangerous for a while.

'Old' Pascal got busted for four banned substances, including EPO, which has been banned for 30 years.

Every time they show a fight from Canada on ESPN+ ... the fighters have to walk past tables of people eating steak.

If you've ever taken a laptop to a fight, you know blood flies REALLY FAR. Those tables are really close.

Look at what happened to former amateur great Korobov who also had an extremely extensive amateur career of over 300 fights by the time he hit his mid thirties? He was past his best before he turned pro but his body is wrecked now.

350 amateur fight GGG was past his best by his mid thirties albeit he's one of the few whose body has held up well with regards to injuries.

It's hardly a coincidence that Loma and Usyk have become very injury prone since they hit their early thirties. These EE fighters don't just have very extensive amateur careers, and personally I think 200 is too many especially so many up at the world level, they train year round like Spartans and that puts a lot of wear and tear and mileage on your body.

I doubt we'll get an upset, but I do think this could be a real war.

I find that somedays I can no longer tolerate the nonsense filler catch phrases....

"He's in the best shape of his life...", "Had a great training camp." etc etc.

Just once before I die I want to hear someone say "Yeah my training camp sucked and I'm not in shape so I'm going to start a three round brawl and hope for the best."

Mark my words, neither of these guys will ever win a legitimate version of a world title. I doubt they'll even beat anyone in the top 10.
