Artur Beterbiev 15-0, 15 KO's, has they ever been a light heavy

We never got to see if Moorer could take a punch at LHW.
1. because he blew up in weight quickly and
2. Virgil Hill was the man he wanted. can't prove it, but I think he wanted no part or Moorer who was around 22-0 (22kos) at LHW.

 

Foster maybe? Has a decent chin at LHW, poor at HW, unbelievable pfp power and a good Gas tank.
Qawi? He was a hard hitting (not Beterbiev hard mind you) with an excellent gas tank and had a very good chin.
Gibbons would be my pick though, he had a rock jaw, hit hard and had the pace to outwork Harry Greb.

So that's 3 with similar styles, although I can think of a few more with these attributes. Beterbiev could prove to be a LHW ATG and a H2H nightmare.

 

Imagine him vs Saad or Johnson

 

I like Bob Foster's chances at LHW. Long reach, height, great leverage when throwing bombs. From around 66-1970 minus one fight they were all TKO/KOs.

He can be outboxed for 12.

The ones who like to brawl too much get destroyed.

 

I agree his durability isn't exactly brilliant, but in his title reign he wasn't stopped, he was stopped at HW whilst he was old or green. It's not like he's got a cast iron mandible.
Although Beterbiev's level of durability is definitely above Fosters, but still might not be impenetrable.

Surely if Qawi's KO% is stopping him from getting in then Gibbons is a sure fit?

 

And, on top of that:
4) he's a very good and experienced boxer;

Add all four together and he's an absolute nightmare for his opponents.
