It's crazy how fast they're moving him. He actually wanted to move faster but I think there's a rule in place in Quebec that prohibits fighters from taking part in title match ups until they've had five fights. I can't remember too much about it now but it was something along those lines.

There have been rumours circulating that he actually beat him twice, but that was said to be untrue during the broadcast the other night. He was robbed in major championships numerous times too, losing to the eventual gold medalist everytime.

I don't mind a bit of smack talk during the build up to a fight now and again, especially if it's genuinely witty and good banter, but I do like to see fighters show each other mutual respect when all is said and done after the final bell though. There are a very few fighters who can get away with being really unnecessarily disrespectful to their opponent in my book. A young Roberto Duran was one of them and that's only because he had a touch of that Keyser Soze type pure evil and menace mystique about him. lol
