put it this way Michel would do very well to keep Beterbiev happy because if he control him he can keep him away from stevenson(who beterbiev would destroy)

if beterbeiv changes promotor he will go for stevenson first because Kovalev has already said he will make Kovalev earn his chance and hold out as long as possible

Nothing goes between Artur Beterbiev and Groupe Yvon Michel.

The boxer has left Big Bear, California, where he took part in a training camp with Jean Pascal.

Relationships are very tense between Beterbiev and promoter Yvon Michel, learned Nancy Audet TVA Sports.

He returned to Montreal and do not train at the moment. The fight April 4 in Quebec City against Gabriel Campillo could be at risk.

    I am depressed. .............. :dead

He won't have any problems with trying to find a promoter who wants to sign him up, but if it ends up in the courtroom things could get really messy and he could be out of action for a long while, which at his age is not good at all. Yeah, really depressing.

i'm pretty sure any promoter with half a brain would pay Michel what ever compensation he wanted to get Beterbiev to fight for them straight away

you are signing a guy who has a great chance of being number 1 in the soon to be hottest division in boxing and has a fan friendly style and imo could be one of the biggest p4p punchers ever

Let's hope so. I was desperate to see Beterbiev join the pro ranks for years, if this ends up keeping him on the sidelines I'm going to be seriously p*ssed.

Marc Ramsay is also the coach of Pascal . May be that not give enough time to Beterbiev

What's with this guy? He is getting paid very well and his career is getting dast tracked. Yet his gets all butthurt about not being payed enough attention. He should simply train hard and wait. After March 14 he will be taking pascal's place as the companies top guy anyway.

Kovalev was right, this guy is STUPID!

Beterbiev has a lot of potential, but he has to be patient like Kovalev has been.............

    http://ici.radio-canada.ca/sports/p...001-boxe-beterbiev-reva-gym-haymon-nego.shtml

Google translate is kind of poor, sounds like Al Haymon wants to take over Artur completely with backing of GYM.

Artur's manager Reva sees the danger and does not want to lose her client. So he's back in Montreal to put pressure on Haymon to offer 'better' deal terms? **** Al Haymon

    *****
'Beterbiev was busy preparing for his fight on 4 April in Quebec against the Spanish southpaw Gabriel Campillo.

Joined by CBC Sports, the manager of the rising star heavyweight, Anna Reva, said that his protégé has indeed left his Big Bear training camp in California as a means of pressure to return to Montreal .

At the root of this confusion: Haymon. He already holds the career of Adonis Stevenson and Lucian Bute and shows an interest in following that of Beterbiev already under contract with GYM.

Ms. Reva, business conditions proposed by Haymon and defended by Yvon Michel are the focus of talks between the parties due to resume Wednesday afternoon.

"I do not want to Artur trains for nothing. I have the interests of my boxer at heart. Al Haymon is good for boxing and involvement is a sign of success. I just want him to put in writing the conditions it offers for the future Artur, "said Reva.

The manager believes that an agreement is possible, but not at any price. She does not want to lose control of his client.'

is this a situation where Haymon doesn't want beterbeiv ending his fighter Campillo's career without getting options on beterbiev?

I listened radio show last night. The problem that if Beterbiev sign contract for the fight with campillo. Haymon will have option on his next fight of Beterbiev. So Anna Reva dont want lose control. and others litle thing .
