He is being avoided by Stevenson, Ward and Kovalev are tied up, so what can you expect?

Also he has a decent resume for someone with only 11 fights.

Porter is a year YOUNGER than Usyk, and was playing high school football well enough to get scholarship offers.

Barrera doesn't have the power to keep #BeterBeast off him.

What I think is funny, and what has already been posted recently in this thread, is Beterbiev isn't beating down part time boxers, or jobbers. The dude he just destroyed in one round gave Alvarez hell. The shoulder injury and GYM being inept the second half of 2016 was a big setback for BeterBeast, but 2017 will be his breakout yet. He will be the mando for Ward by Summer and possibly 175 champ this time next year. We shall see. He has to tighten up his D, work on his movement a bit more, and get his jab off first and box behind it. If he does all that I could see him beating Ward, Kovalev, or Stevenson by the end of 2017.

So a 3 year amateur boxer who was a small musclebound 165lb football playing tank who would eventually boil himself down to 147 took on an inexperienced 6'3 lanky teenage beanpole novice campaigning at 165 which is 35 pounds south of where he ended up campaigning at less than a year and a half later, and the lanky beanpole was outhustled by someone closer to his natural weight with a ridiculously close score of 23:20 in the United States (I'm sure the scores were 100% fair) has what bearing on either fighter today? I hope you're not implying Porter could beat Usyk today are you, or is relevant in any way, shape or form on what kind of fighter Usyk would become, because you need to get to the nearest funny farm ASAP if you are.

They wouldn't fight today. They fought in 2004 when they were the same weight. One guy put weight on, one guy lost weight and hustled up to do his boxing training for an hour after football practice. Again, he was an all-district running back who's goal was to get a football scholarship, not to fight in the olympics.

They fought in 2006, and if it has no bearing, then stop bringing it up and acting like it does.

LOL, if amateur fights have no bearing, why bring up Beterbiev - Usyk?

"I ain't doin' no roadwork, got to get that bench up to 300 homie!"

He'd jump at the chance to fight Adonis. But Adonis wouldn't want to fight him. I didn't say it was a duck.

Do you think Beterbiev can get a Stevenson match if he wants it? Surely you'd agree that the objections to that fight would come from Stevenson, not Beterbiev?

My point was simply that the best LHW names are unavailable at the moment for Beterbiev.

Lmao! Some people are going to ride that Porter beat Usyk in the ams crap to hell and back. Just be prepared! It will happen all through Usyks career. And we know the fully grown versions of Usyk and Porter will never fight because it would be like GGG v.s Brook times 10. Accept Usyk would also be boxing his ears off BAD along with hurting him constantly.

This is boxing my dude. I think there is an under 5% situation where cats are legit AFRAID to box someone.

I think Stevenson (because of his one punch KO power) has the best chance to beat #BeterBeast, then Kovalev due to his skill and power, and finally Ward due to his defense and movement/skills--even though I think Ward is the best overall boxer.

It's entirely possible Beterbiev doesn't get his shot until 2018.

I didn't say Stevenson was afraid to fight Beterbiev either. It's just a very high risk fight with low reward, that's all. You seem to agree with me that Beterbiev may have to wait awhile for his title shot. That's all I was saying here.

Michel Griffin (ref'ed the Prieto fight) on Beterbiev: “I don’t know if anybody hits that hard,” said a man who’s been in the ring with Stevenson, Kovalev and Wladimir Klitschko. “Is he going to beat Kovalev? Is he going to beat Andre Ward? I don’t know. But does he belong in the same ring as them? Absolutely. There’s no other level that he could be at. He’s a top five guy in the world.”

Slender4 is a ******. He does not even like Porter just fits his agenda. Pretty sure he had Thurman beating Porter I find odd because now he is championing Porter. Any port in a strorm will do when it comes to defaming an E.E. boxer.
