Maybe you,re right, but the power is with Beterbiev , it,s gonna be hard for him to last the distance
Bivol is too small. You will see on the night. I'm willing to do an avatar bet or a 30 day ban if Bivol wins. But I won't because Beterbiev will KHTFO
Smith and Yarde didn’t duck their heads low and still got hammered to the back of the head. Even if they did, fighters duck their heads low all the time and most aren’t getting rabbit punched to hell.
It amazes me that fans just skip by this. Rabbit punching is worse than any other dirty tactic by a long shot and that’s what people are glossing over the most.
It clearly as I stated before, is a part of his strategy. Guys like GGG, Loma, Usyk, Derevyanchenko, Gvozdyk and Kovalev are all well schooled in creating openings where there are none, setting traps, and ushering their opponents into whatever position they want them in. Beterbiev is too. Artur clubs them on the shoulders and side of the head, until that opening presents itself to him, and he never misses an opportunity to land there and land flush.
Berb is going to bash Bivol through his guard and have him running like jesus christ is chasing him with a burning club. Berb isn't a bum like Canelo...but he is old, ugly and now damaged goods with that injury. Not that he was ever going to be the spring chicken against Bivol. I had Bivol then I had Berb then with that injury it's tightened up, still going to favour Berb....Bivol boxes his heart out to the T he can do it.
Despite his despicable rabbit punching, I am a fan of AB, however, Bivol is going to win this handily imo, and its interesting how many people are likely due a big surprise come fight night. If AB manages to win this at his age and coming off a catastrophic injury, against a primed out Bivol, this would have to rank as one of the best wins in boxing this era, imo. I just dont see it happening unfortunately.
I don't see the logic in those holding it against Bivol for being hurt against Smith Jr; Smith Jr is a murderous puncher, and he caught Bivol at the bell whilst he had his guard down. If anything, the fact that Bivol recovered so quickly should be a plus in regards to Bivol's ability to take Beterbiev's power. As for Bivol vs Beterbiev, I think it will follow a similar trajectory of Beterbiev-Gvozdyk, with Bivol outboxing Beterbiev from range; the only difference being Bivol being significantly younger than Gvozdyk, and Beterbiev being significantly older than when he faced Gvozdyk. Thus, I don't see Bivol crumbing under the pressure of Beterbiev the way Gvozdyk did; I feel he will have the stamina (both mental and physical) to outbox Beterbiev for all 12.
Not if he gets slowed down with body shots. I see Bivol ahead by Rd5 and then the body attack will slow him down before headshots finish the job off
Bivol has looked pretty subpar in his last couple fights imo. He's looked bulkier at the weight and hasn't been as bouncy or energetic. I think age and spells of inactivity are starting to take their toll on both men, not just Beterbiev. And even if Bivol does manage to pull off the win, I don't think he'll be the same fighter he was before facing Beterbiev. Artur seems to just take a piece out of guys. I still think Artur KOs Bivol though.
