Also, the date (May 4) makes perfect sense, because the Ramadan is from May 5 to June 4 this year, and Beterbiev refuses to fight during this period for religious reasons.

Also, the Alvarez vs. Jacobs fight is the same night, so no one in their right mind would put Beterbiev vs. Kovalev on the same date.
Therefore, we can forget about Kovalev fighting Beterbiev this spring.

They were in negotiations with Sullivan Barrera. That'd be a good fight. I don't think anyone is interested in seeing Sven Forling. I'm not, that's for sure.

im just happy to see beterbiev in the ring. this is just how beterbiev career is going to go. fighters or mostly promoters dont wanna put there product in with artur because its to risky there gonna wait for him to get old and look bad but still win till some one is going to get in the ring wit him. right now im just happy to see him fight an earn some money untill some one grows some balls and steps up and will be vocal about fighting a guy like artur.

Bull****, he left dazn as soon as bivol signed. I don't think he wants the difficult fight himself.

Top rank who have more light heavyweights to fight than dazn so ignore that other poster and his bollocks.

ESPN and Top Rank (as co-promoter of his career alongside Yvon Michel) because Kovalev is also signed with them too so it is, in theory, easier to make a unification match.
