Hasn’t he basicaly turned down all offers while sitting out until his (now failed) lawsuit was settled?

He did but he was unhappy. But if he doesn't fight his career is done.

Well, yeah. If he doesn’t fight again then he’s no longer a professional boxer, so ...

I don’t see what happiness has to do with it. They call it work because they pay you for it. If it was fun and happy, everyone would do it for free.

GYM started off well with Beterbiev, got him two early good bouts in Campillo and Cloud. Good name builders.

After that it's been zero. Shame, very talented boxer. May well be even more talented than Kovalev, but it's not the first time an EE boxer gets ****ed by a promoter and won't be the last.

But you have to take into account that he rejected both GB and TOP RANK before joining GYM.

Didn't know that. His own fault then. Also he turned pro too late, I understand the promoter side of things as well. Very little time to try and build this guy.

Artur Beterbiev does not accept the judges ruling and he will appeal. At the same time he says he wants to fight before the end of the summer.

I dont know how that will be possible.
Beterbiev will be 34 years old next January

If they manage him like they managed Bogdan Dinu, they yeah, Artur might as well retire now.

Where’s his smokeshow manager Anna Reva?

His career stalled after they went separate ways.

She's still bringing fighters from the former Soviet Union to Canada. Her best prospect at the moment is Batyr Jukenbayev but there are others also.

Beterbiev might as well retire, esp. if his career is still on hold!

I think it was all fun when he was coming up but then he is breathing down stevensons neck and they know the jig is up.
Beterbiev battered the crap out of pascal in sparring, they have the same promoter he has probably battered the crap out of stevenson too.
Beterbiev is looking at it like its my time to fight him, and gym are probably trying their best to never make the fight

beterbiev has a law degree if i remember correctly. Bias judges often give hometown decisions, even in court

    This.
And i think GYM was not obligated to get him any fights while the lawsuit was ongoing.
Either way, Beterbiev would have used that angle if it was possible, but it seems like GYM has delivered on their promises(at least those on paper).
