Me too. Bob Arum and the other blood suckers do not care about the fans, they care about how much money they can take. There are many great fights that never happened because of this greed.

I'd love to see Hearn and Arum fight in a boxing match, with the winner to immediately face Deontay Wilder.

Promoters are TERRIFIED of a Russian speaker vs. Russian speaker superfight.

They still haven't forgotten the promotional disaster that was Klitschko vs. Ibragimov.

They'll let Bivol and Beterbeef square off, but ONLY after they each soak up fans from the Mexico/UK bases. Imagine the nightmare of promoting a Cuban vs. Cuban for undisputed. They're just not going to do it unless they steal the momentum off of some bigger names.

The best thing in terms of exposure for a Beterbiev/Bivol fight would be on a Fury/AJ undercard.

Beterbiev might kill him. Good fight for exposure but easy fight for AB.

Apparently he has to KO the entirety of the British Isles before he can take the fight for undisputed? If they were putting up multiple mandatory roadblocks to derail the hw undisputed match people would be howling.

Not enough left of Smith to spread on a sandwich after Artur is through with him.

Totally ludicrous situation neither Yarde or Smith deserve a crack at Beterbiev.
Yarde got an undeserved shot at the ghost of Kovalev and has done nothing since of note.
Smith, the luckiest ever winner of the WBSS, with wins over an unknown Scandinavian, a substitute kick boxer and a one armed Groves. Following this up with a money grab, non-effort against Alvarez.
Recent lightheavy win was over another unknown.
These two Brit blockers, are lucky, to be even to be in the top 20, never mind being considered mandatory challengers!

True but they're English speakers so that certainly helps

The UFC also shows how well a (dominant) champion can be monetised if he is marketed well and always winning high stakes fights even if they're not American or English speaking; Islam Machkaev, Khabib, Khamzat, Charles Oliviera etc etc
