Probably beterbiev if he bulked up. Valuev sucked, he was huge but wasnt much of a boxer.
Holyfield best him and should hold the record for oldest heavyweight champ, he was robbed.
Its not as much of a fairy tale as big george though. Holyfield was shot to pieces but valuev managed to suck even more.

Yeah everyone was hating on Valuev an no one respected his abilities but he didn’t care every body saw him as a freak show cos he was still able to become tallest an heaviest champ ever, 2 time champ an going by stats alone had a great career record of 50-2

Well Haye beat Valuev by throwing about 8 punches per round. So i think Beterbiev can get that win.

Some paper wba belt. Means nothing. Who did he actually convincingly beat?
He should have atleast faced one of the klits.
And nobody goes by stats alone. Otherwise Brian Nielsen should rank higher than Ali for having a better record...
Its about who you fought and when.

Can't see past Valuev really. A big basic lump - Vs a better-skilled guy who still wants to go forward in straight lines. Just don't see Betterbiev has the size to beat a 7ft 300lbs guy.

For the record, Holyfield was not robbed.

Almost every journalist ringside agreed with the judges that Valuev won. It is a fight that looked one way on the internet and another way from ringside, Valuev's jab seems to have been the punch that did it. I forget the number, but a poll of ringside journalists overwhelmingly saw it for Valuev, sort of 45/50 territory. This was reported in RING, RING also scored it for Valuev ahead of the American.

Valuev wins. He wasn't great, but he stuck to what we was good at. Too big for Beterbiev.

I remember not even finishing that fight because it was so damn boring. I think AB wins, Valuev had an atrocious workrate.

I don’t think Valuev was a great heavyweight but still I think the size difference may be too much for AB. I could see him out working Valuev later on in the fight, but I don’t think he’s be able to dictate the action in the early-mid rounds against a 7 foot giant.

I felt Holyfield won the fight but I’ve seen far worse decisions and I could see why the decision went the way it did. People use the term robbery too often.
