Last thread. Beterbiev vs the old version of Povetkin from the first Dillian Whyte fight

Does Beterbiev get the job done or is the size and power difference too much ?

If not, could he beat the Povetkin from (Whyte 2) ?

Enough with the Beterbiev vs Godzilla, King Kong and Mike Tyson threads.

Biev vs Tunney Marciano or Patterson? Ok maybe...
But there is simply no evidence either way on how Artur would deal with a heavyweight, or how he himself would carry extra mass if he moved up etc...
So everybody is just posting their baseless pointless opinion

Beterbiev's defense and chin will be susceptible to Povetkins left.

Dude… Beterbiev don’t even want to move to cruiserweight let alone heavies. He’s a great LHW, top 3 of all time - but that is all

Povetkin from Whyte 2 was as shot as an Alabama signpost.

Povetkin was really a cruiser so the fight might be competitive.
But Beterbiev doesn't have an iron chin and if Johnson can drop him, I think Povetkin can KO him. Povetkin went 12 with Wlad taking some big punches, I think he handles Beterbiev's power.

But the Povetkin of Hearn's 'eliminator rematch clause' fight was not right, probably Covid effects. Could well lose. Povetkin's handlers were criminal for letting that fight go ahead, typical parasites.

Povetkin was awful in both the Whyte fights. He could barely throw his vaunted left without winding it up Popeye style and all his speed, fluidity and balance seemed to have gone. So yeah, definitely giving Beterbiev more than a decent shot here.

Based on 20 wins over medium level competition? Uh, no he's not top 3, or top 5 . Might come in around 10-15. He simply doesn't have the resume.

The Povetkin of the Whyte rematch would lose to prime Dave Allen, just compare their performances against Whyte.

Povetkin in the Whyte 1 fight was shot to pieces. He was being beaten by Whyte, but he used his experience and intelligence and KO Whyte.

I want to match Povetkin from Price fight vs Beterbiev.
