All this refuted and so on things does work in philosophy and non STEM related arts for THEORY. In boxing only one thing might refute or eliminate an opinion and this is called in only one name: fight result. They did not had fought and therefore there nothing to refute. It is entertainment not discussions per se.
Ohh, and this post about Klit and Lewis makes me a lot of fun. Yeah, Lewis had won this fight and I usually had stated that I value Lewis, Wlad and Vitaly appox equally. If not enough, Lewis HAD DUCKED REMATCH WITH VITALI because initially he agreed and later announced retirement.
Now will continue with facts: while Lewis had retired, Vitali had continued nice pro career. Lewis also maybe even if was better than Vitali, ducked rematch and he already had been stopped in distance by other boxers and this is the same thing fans incriminate to the same Wlad and Vitali. So only one fu***** Lewis had better than Klits: he was undisputed, this yeah. For relatively short time.
btw Lewis even is boxer who likes me therefore I didn't had posted links to videos where he ( Lewis ) had get stopped in distance.
Next stuff: Ruiz vs A.J 1 st fight. While Ruiz likes me more than A.J, I do not post links to this fight while this too is real proof what had happened with A.J there. A.J for me looks nice and he too likes me a bit.
If you remember Ruiz had stopped A.J in first fight and next fight had lost via decision. Fans keep assume that A.J is better than Ruiz. What if Ruiz had retired after first fight like Lewis after 1 st fight vs Vitali? What if this? fans posts that Ruiz is definitely better boxer than A.J?
Different scenarios. Both Aj and Ruiz were young and that rematch was contractually obligated if i can remember correctly. The fact of the matter is Lewis was past it, out of shape as in 10 pounds over his prime fighting weight, took Vitali on 2 weeks notice and still beat him. Vitali had claimed to had been studying Lewis for years before this fight as well. If they both fought in their prime Lewis probably would have won more convincingly. And as far as a hypothetical rematch, Lewis would be in shape, would be better prepared for the 6'7 giant and better conditioned. Wheras Vitali would be Vitali. The likely hood is if the rematch happened. the fight would be stopped on cuts. Vitali would be coming in with 3 huge scars on his face and scar tissue is weaker than normal skin. And Lewis would probably be punching on Vitali a hell of a lot more than he did in the first fight and you know how that went. 1 cut is usually luck but 3 huge cuts ? No. It's clear Vitali's skin couldn't handle the power of Lennox Lewis and the same result would have happened in a rematch
Does he? His performance against Hopkins was considered disappointing at that time, and if memory serves, that was the fight where Larry Merchant suggested it was like watching politicians debate the budget on CSPAN.
Gvodzyk beat a far faded Stevenson to a pulp. Stevenson got a gift prior to that and shouldn't even have had a belt. The man from the Caucasus was the first real prime talent Gvodzyk faced. Unfortumately for Gvodzyk fan boys not only did Beterbiev beat him down. He also took his soul.
