Artur Beterbiev vs. Callum Johnson

I'd like to see Johnson win, but I don't see it happening. If they go to war, Beterbiev is just too big and strong, if not, Johnson will spend most of the fight trying to survive.

 

He has a chance, albeit an outside chance. I think it's also called a puncher's chance....

 

Beterbiev gets ring rust because no one dares to fight him.
Johnson has guts to step in with him, but I don't think he will win.
Beterbiev is a mountain step after Buglioni.

 

Hearn also said he won't let Johnson fight him unless the money makes sense.

 

Beterbiev trains regularly. He might not be sparring every day but his fighting fitness is very good.

 

Makes sense! Beterbiev is an animal, albeit a rusty one. Very high risk fight, but also high return one - if Callum wins, he gets a title and a shot at everyone else at LHW. His chances are slim, though not really non-existent, so the downside cushion should be at least a bit comfortable. Still, I go with a Beterbeast KO.

 

Johnson is a dark horse after dealing with a couple of injuries over the last years. We all don't know what he is capable of but Beterbiev is two or three classes above everything he fought in the past.

 

By the way the poll is a bit incomplete. I don't think Johnson has a "real" chance, it's only a puncher's chance. But that's not exactly zero either.

 

I am expecting a purse bid and hopefully Callum doesnt pull a Barrera and run like hell after he finds out that Artur isnt a cash cow lol

And I'm very curious to see who will represent Beterbiev

If Artur wins the lawsuit and becomes free agent ( wich isnt a gimme) Eddie Hearn should sign this beast for his American stable
