Would be an amazing fight, also would be intresting to see how bivol does when he’s out of second gear and also out of his comfort zone he’s a very calm and collected fighter.

beterbiev brings the pressure though and I’m not entirely convinced that bivol would be able to take the 12 rounds of damage that artur dishes out he’s a hell of a lot bigger than bivol.

I lean slightly towards artur, great fight and credit to both men if they take it.

No doubt Smith is heavy handed but he is nowhere near the finisher that Beterbiev is. It is one thing to hit hard, it's another thing to hit hard in combination.

Bivol has a tremendous skill set, but I don't know if he has the physical strength to neutralize B-biev inside or the punching power to discourage him from fighting downhill all night long. I think Artur wins by late stoppage.

You were over-exaggerating Smiths abilities. I haven't seen this Mike Tyson like punch power you speak of... but I know Beterbiev overall is stronger and punches harder and is more proven

Why hype Smith? Whats the agenda behind that?

Zero agenda. Smith is not very good at all. I think he has huge one punch power however. Beterbiev is very powerful as well. I said "I am not so sure Beterbiev hits harder than Smith". How that warranted being told to calm down and then insulted is beyond me. Stop putting words in other people's mouths and grow up, you are embarrassing yourself.

My whole issue with your opinion stems from "I am not so sure Beterbiev hits harder than Smith"

I just can't believe that you are on the fence about the topic, because for me, Beterbiev is clearly a level or two above smith in every category including punch power. I just don't know why you aren't sure... there's more evidence proving Beterbievs power... so then where is the doubt coming from?

There should be a clear distinction between Beterbiev and Smith in the power department given all the fights we've seen and the stories we've heard.

I think I remember hearing they fought 4 times as amateurs with Bivol winning 3 of 4. Obviously amateurs and pros are very different but it's 1 indicator of many. Beterbiev fought Gvozdyk once as amateurs and Beterbiev won by RSCI, he broke Gvozdyk's nose.

If I were putting money on this fight I would put it on Beterbiev to stop Bivol. I really can't see it any other way. I think Gvoz does better than Bivol will. I like Bivol. Good, solid fighter. Good fundamentals, good skills but I envision Beterbiev breaking him down sooner than he did against Gvoz.

Hope this happens sometime this year and Beterbiev moves up to CW in 2021. There's some really good fights for him there and after Bivol there's nothing really exciting left at LHW.

Oh, I don't know. Canelo just fought at 175 when he took out Kovalev. But we all know Canelo would NEVER take that fight. NEVER.

Blahblahblah. I only read COMPARISONS. Everyone saying RT is better than ....
Only because A is better than B ....it makes A neither serious nor trustworthy. DAMN!

One of the best match ups in the entire sport.

Beterbiev stops the fighters who don't get stopped, and Bivol shuts out the ones who don't get shutout or who give everyone tough fights.
