I interpret this as you not actually having anything that shows that Beterbiev wasn't better than them, or, at worst, in their class. One of the most common biases is refusal to change one's original belief. I thought Beterbiev wasn't the truth until I realized that he was.
That's a coincidence,I interpret your reply as you not being able to back up your argument. As for my guys, here goes : Jerry Quarry beat Ron Lyle,Mac Foster and Earnie Shavers ( Quarry stopped Shavers in one round ) George Chuvalo defeated Mike DeJohn.By the way Chuvalo gave the peak Muhammad Ali a very tough fight. And no,Beterbiev does not give the prime Ali anything like the same trouble.
BTW Chuvalo was the only guy to legitimately last 15 rounds with the peak Muhammad Ali.That's sweet enough.Yes Terrell also lasted 15 rounds vs Ali but Ali carried Terrell just for the sole purpose of sadistically inflicting as much pain on the unfortunate Terrell as possible. Chuvalo was the only guy who legitimately lasted 15 rounds against the peak Ali, as in the 1964-67 version of the Greatest.
Chuvalo "earned" the fight with Ali by losing his previous fight to Eduardo Corletti (191 lbs., record of 11-4-5 ). If the internet was around in those days, can you imagine the message board posters commenting on a champion fighting a "contender" who was 34-11, and who had lost his previous fight to a guy who was 11-4-5? Maybe the "good old days" weren't quite as good as these guys remember?
The poll currently has 39 votes for Frazier. And 1 vote for Beterbiev.. (@Pat M the only dissenting vote)
