    Good stuff. One of the most exciting if not the most exiting match up that can be made in the sport today. It's not quite prime Kovalev vs prime Beterbiev but it's virtually guaranteed to be barnburner and if Smith is ever going to beat Beterbiev this is the best time for him to try and do so. Hopefully that nasty gash Beterbiev sustained against Browne has healed fully by the time he starts camp and there are no issues with it.

    Great fight. Pay Joe the 1.8 mil. He deserves at lesst that much for fighting Beterbiev. This fight has action written all over it. Credit to both for making it happen. A superfight like this should pay the participants much more.

    That purse doesn't seem unreasonable but I hope JSJ is willing to negotiate and doesn't hold firm.

    Honestly though, I think Hearn was just trolling Bob and Joe

    joe smith jr can take a beating but I think beterbiev will go through the gears actually look to box joe early and ramp up the pressure later on and really work over smith jr I could see smiths team throwing in the towel.

    Marcus Browne would beat Joe Smith

    Bivol schooled him with a 1-2 all night

    He arguably lost to Vlasov

    His arms are too long and he has no inside game. Beterbiev closes the gap and wrecks him

    @UniversalPart I'm not sure. Smith Jr was great against Eleider Alvarez, he beat him in a brutal fashion. He is very strong and savage. Beterbiev doesn't have Bivol's skillset, he relies on his power. Smith Jr may surprise him.

    Great fight, has to happen. Much respect to both, been waiting for this for some time now.

    Smith Jr deserves at least 2 m for this one. The financial gap is not much, it will be made.
