Hard to believe that fight will happen.Too big risk before eventual fight with Canelo.Hope we won't see injury/covid problem.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED. Two boxers in their prime and same division in the same ring at the same time? Is this really boxing? Is this real life?

This is how boxing should work, 2 of the best fighters in a division going at it. Great fight!

I think Beterbiev isnt in his prime anymore. Respect to him for taking this fight I think he really wants to go for undisputed at 175lbs.

Smith is incredibly basic for an elite fighter. Respect for making it work and he seems mad cool but really dont fancy him against most top ranked or title holding LHW's there have been. Less than 10% chance I would give him against Beterbiev. He knows hes selling his belt.

Those are different type fighters, these are two guys who won't have to look for each other. This is going to be a great fight. Smith has the power to drop Beterbiev and vice versa. I'd hazard a guess that whoever can use his jab more effectively will be able to land with power shots more often. One shot from either man can change this fight. I can't wait for this one.

I won't argue with you on the points you make, but a fighter like Smith can make a lot of money in this sport with or without the belt. He has an exciting style with a good story. Even if he sells his belt and takes an L, there will be more lucrative fights left in the game for him.

Beterbiev doesn't rely on his power, he utilitilizes it. Smith is the one that is completely reliant on power.

Smith via TKO. He's gonna open up AB's head.

    Fantastic.

Beterbiev stops him late. Might taste the canvas himself first though.

If they can get the Bivol fight for later in the year (Assuming Bivol still has the belt), then that could be a fighter of the year for Beterbiev.

    He's too crude.

    You're under rating Beterbiev here.
