Artur Beterbiev vs Radivoje Kalajdzic is this weekend

    This fight is under the radar and it could be the best fight of this weekend.

    Kalajdzic is a very good fighter and he got robbed against Marcus Browne, who schooled Jack just recently. He's a top 10 fighter at 175, even if the organizations don't have him ranked.

    Beterbiev...what can I say. A waste of a career so far. He's been so inactive recently that Kalajdzic actually have a good chance to pull an upset. If Beterbiev wins in spectacular fashion, maybe he can finally get into a high profile fight or 3.

    This is a really good fight to bad everyone is gonna be watching the Canelo/Jacobs fight. Hot Rod could pull the upset because he beat Marcus Browne easily. Im not sure how good his chin is though because i only watched him fight once.

    Glad to see Hot Rod getting another shot since his career got put on ice for making the house fighter look bad.

    I like how both Beterbiev and Kalajdzic were born in countries, which don't exist anymore. :lol:

    Anyways the fight itself is pretty good. Shame that it's competing against Canelo vs Jacobs, Top Rank should have made this card on Friday.

    Kalajdzic had only 7 rounds (total in three stay-busy fights) after the Marcus Browne bout.
    I wonder how much it will affect him...

    Very good under the radar fight.
    Although I expect Beterbiev to knock him out, I'm not really sure because it seems like Browne is kinda legit anyway and still clearly lost to Kalajdzic (although not on paper). This bout could turn out to burn down a couple of barns back there in Stockton.

    Beterbiev has only had 15 in the same time frame and the only reason it's that high is because Koelling was durable and savvy enough to take him into the 12th. Both have been too inactive, only fought 3 times in the last 3 years, and had to contend with serious injuries. Hot Rod is still only 27, only had a brief amateur career, and is much fresher whereas Artur is 34 and had a very long amateur career fighting with a very aggressive style.

    Beterbiev is a gym rat though. If you look at his Instagram he treats boxing like a full time job.....zero off days and always ready to go. If he hadnt had his promotor issues he would have had way more sucess than he already has.

    No question he trains like a Spartan. He, to quote Russ Anber: ''Turns the music off when it's time to train'' lol

    Such a shame he's been so inactive during his prime years, had he been fighting regularly since he turned pro he could've unified at LHW by now and achieved much more

    Wow, quite unexpected :shocked: info here. Kalajdzic said that he had quit boxing two years ago.
    It seems like this fight will be less competitive than some of us here expect...
