No evidence of Bievs vs a guy anywhere near that mass. Pure conjecture

Not a good matchup for Beterbiev fighting a tough brawler who's 60 pounds heavier and wouldn't be afraid of his power while unleashing a high volume of power punches himself.

    Dude, take a break.
You make 3 such threads a day. You don´t need to make a thread every time you come up with a thought.
    Peter smashes him tho.

Man I love Beterbiev but I dunno that going nose to nose with a mastodon like Peter is a great idea.

Peter is a bad stylistic matchup for him. I give Beterbeast good chances against a lot of heavyweights, but not against a tank like that who would be both stronger, harder hitting, and more resilient than him.

Beterbeast's main advantage is his physicality. He has more skills than many give him credit for but it is his physicality that's brought him success.

Put Beterbeast in there against Peter and that physicality advantage goes away.

Going head to head with a guy, also a beast but much larger is not a good strategy.

It'd be a war with Beterbiev getting broken down in the later rounds imo. The Peter of the Toney fights was no joke, big strong powerful guy with a solid engine for his size.

Put it like this I think Beterbiev could beat Toney, and Toney could beat Peter but I'm not at all confident that Beterbiev could beat Peter, simply because of how the styles matched up. I could be wrong and maybe Beterbiev has some top notch slippery defence that he hasn't shown before, but usually he physically imposes himself on his opponents and 250lb elephant Sam Peter has a big size up on him.

While Beterbiev can box a bit, there are better boxers, he prefers to walk people down, I don’t think his backfoot boxing ability and defence are enough to have success at heavyweight or even beat Peter.
I do think Beterbiev would do very well at Crusierweight.

The way Toney battered the even bigger Vasily Jirov gives me serious doubts that a come forward fighter like Beterbiev would beat a motivated Toney. Beterbiev would absolutely play to Toney's counterpunching strengths.

Disagree. Beterbiev tends to throw lots of short little punches and doesn't get off balance. As a counterpuncher you really want the other guy to commit to a blow so that he is out of position for longer.

Well, it's likelier that Beterbiev suffers a KO loss here than against heavyweight Toney - but OTOH, you have to give him a better chance of stopping Peter than of stopping heavyweight Toney.
