Beterbiev is killing his own career or Yvon Michel is hanging him out to dry in negotiations and killing fights. He should have stuck with DAZN tbh...at least Eddie could have kept him busy.
He tried to get out of that contract, but he couldn't as the court ruled in Michel's favor. So I'm pretty sure he would have signed with DAZN/Hearn immidiately, but he simply can't.
He's probably a slimy douche but I don't think Michel is too much at blame here. I want to see him kick ass but Beterbiev seems to be his own worst enemy when it comes to getting fights.
How the **** did they mangle his career this badly? This is absolute insanity. At this point it's clear that Beterbiev himself is also to blame.
Beterbiev might end up becoming another Ike Ibeabuchi or Edwin Valero in terms of unfullfilled potential and legacy. He's cutting his own career short.
While that is true, he is still trying to get out of his contract. Even though I dislike Yvon Michel, he tried to fast tracked Beterbiev with fight against Cloud and Campillo who were still big name at that point, and Kovalev even offered him a fight in Russia (before facing Chilemba) and he declined the offer.
Oh, a very interesting post by Klimas! It's about Gvozdyk, not Beterbiev, but it seems maybe I was wrong about Barrera... This content is protected
Cloud quit. He also shut down during the Hopkins and Campillo fights. They both schooled him and Cloud couldn't handle it. Sort if like having the so called "sparring partner mentality". He just had no answers.
I HATE this public feud BS. Everyone is just making enemies and not fights. Promoters and managers are talking **** about each other and then crying that the other side wont cooperate. Just STFU for a moment and try to reach an agreement.
