Pretty good fight but I can't believe Barrera will fight him coming off a loss.

 

Seems like a suicidal fight for Sullivan, but I've been in the camp that Beterbiev may also be a frontrunner like Chakhkiev. Chak also fights like a beast for a few rounds, but got exposed once he gassed from the initial burst.

I don't think Sullivan's the guy to expose that if he Beterbiev is, but bigger upsets have happened.

 

I thought Barrera wanted to fight Pascal.

pascal pussed on barrera of all people? I find this hard to believe. I mean, he took on a killer like Kovalev and you're telling me, all of a sudden, he's ducking a non puncher like Barrera?

I'm sure he got paid a lot more for fighting Kovalev than he would for Barrera

 

Both promoters are saying this fight is basically done. Since neither promoter is Roc Nation and neither fighter is Andre Ward, it looks like this may actually be going forward.

 

I don't think that poster is referring to this specifically, but Pascal did pass over Barrera to fight Gonzalez last year.

Great fight, could go either way. I lean toward Beter, but it's early.
