Beterbiev needs a new challenger for his IBF final eliminator since Sullivan Barrera can't enter Canada. Possible candidate is Cuban contender Yunieski Gonzalez who lost a controversial decision to Jean Pascal last time but it was a great fight. Beterbiev vs Gonzalez would be great as well imo.

Yeah this would be a pretty good fight. Gonzales is a monster. He's not an average LHW BadBiev can bully with his size/power. This will be a great brawl if it happens. In the end Biev can win since Yunieski has a poor defence but it will be a good fight as long as it lasts.

Alvarez or Chilemba would be harder stylistic match up for Beterbiev. TKO2-3

Good match-up between two heavy hitting up and comers.

It would be interesting to see Gonzalez using more of his Cuban style to deal with Beterbiev's straight up, no defence Russian Seek and Destroy style.
I expect Gonzalez to fight this fight differently than he fought Pascal who he seemed to have little or no respect for his boxing ability or power.

No defense? Get the **** out of here :patsch Beterbiev is not Provodnikov. Beterbiev will outbox him and make him look silly, you do not become a great amateur boxer by not knowing the fundamentals of the sweet science.

Gonzales already turned down a chance to fight Kovalev so expect him to turn this down as well.

Really nice fight, hopefully it gets made. That's part of a card that already has Bute-DeGale and Chilemba-Alvarez, if it stays that's one of the better cards this year.

I don't mean "none" as in zero. What I meant to say is, he has no defence. :good

Gonzales, too slick, too Cuban for robotic Beterbiev.

There; Is that keeping with the climate of our boxing culture?
