On the Culcay vs. Mwakinyo undercard at Bayerhalle on March 21st. Honestly a very decent chance at the upset for the Hungarian glass cannon by night and cement layer by day (and motocross enthusiast) over the Kazakh-German prospect. Lődi has seventeen knockouts in his twenty victories, including as the underdog against three Finns on their home turf (Juho Happoja, Sami Enbom, and Janne Forsman). He does also have thirteen losses, with eight by stoppage - but mostly against upper tier Euro-level competition. Mann has stepped up just once, and was knocked out in 4 by Kevin Lerena.
Lodi and Duhaupas (Helenius, Rosberg, Katajisto) are the Finn destroyers. Enbom was still okay when Lodi beat him, after that he retired for a while and then came back and took the full journeyman/tomato can road. Lodi simply manhandled him.
Difference is Duhaupas has gotten more than his due attention (in fact, gotten quite overrated by some) due to having landed a high-profile gig as Wilder's opponent - whereas virtually nobody outside Békéscsaba sings the praises of Lődi.
Also, not to diminish their roles as Finn-upsetting specialists (as those half a dozen guys they beat were decent enough) but Finland doesn't exactly have the most fearsome reputation in this sport. Kind of a low bar, on paper.
