Artur Szpilka vs. Bryant Jennings

He never fought Haye because haye chickened out TWICE. But he was dead serious in entering the ring with him, it's not his fault is haye wasn't.
Also, if those fighters are weak, why in the entire hell hasn't someone like Jennings already fought anybody near their level?
And Fury is younger and less experienced than Jennings....
So, dunno what are you trying to say, but however you put it, if you shame Fury's resume so far, you are automatically ridiculising the Jennings and the Wilders of the hws.

 

Won't be long now, and we'll finally see this bum exposed.

I hope Szpilka somehow wins and we get to see him fight someone like Bermane Stiverne, then we'll get to see the pole KNOCKED FLAT OUT!

 

Szpilka isn't ready for the top yet but I'm not calling BJ a top heavy. This fight is a test for Bryan't chin. If he's got a granite chin then he'll survive and win on points. Anything else leads to Szpilka winning KO, MrMagic gets KO'd as well then.

No doubt Jennings is better in the department of 'hit and don't get hit' than Mike Mollo. I can see Jennings actually winnings by stoppage, but this will be the biggest test thus far for his chin.

I like Szpilka in this one.... I don't really get the Jennings hype, and I think this fight is alot closer than most realize. Szpilka has a very powerful straight left that might catch Jennings off guard... I see Jennings outboxing Szpilka during the early part of the fight before getting caught. Either way this one is too close to call, I just think some are underestimating Szpilkas chances in this one... Some me be quick to point out that Mollo dropped Szpilka in both of their fights, but Jennings was floored himself by Bowie Tupou who isn't exactly a world beater..... Either way, neither guy has shown that they possess the greatest punch resistance in the HW division... Looking forward to this one though, solid HW scrap between two UNDEFEATED prospects :deal

 

What surprises me most is when Szpilka is labelled a slugger, i understand where it comes from due to his willingness to trade but it isn't accurate from a style standpoint. He's a counter puncher who is fast and mobile for a HW and when he's boxing, circling, fighting on the back foot his defensive flaws aren't an issue its only when he starts slugging at mid range in exchanges. If he is committed to boxing like the McCline fight especially if he forces Jennings to press the action it wouldn't surprise me to see Szpilka get the better of things. At long range his defense could be described as boarderline slick.

 

What Ingemar archieved should be respected, great thing indeed.

And this is very interesting fight, for sure. This is how it should be, two undefeated, talented(yes Spilka too) guys fighting each other and actually earning their way on bigger things.

I have no fukin clue man. I dont know **** about boxing, but it is interesting fight for fight fan and important fight for both fighters to see where they really stand at HW division and not the typical way what it often is today. I mean like these young guns beating washed up, old has beens and getting their unearned title shots and crooked rankings. And this all is what matters:deal.

 

Both of Szpilka's promoters thought that fighting Jennings was too early for him and Szpilka threatened to quit boxing if they failed to secure this fight. Szpilka says he wants Perez, Wilder or Stiverne next.
