Haven't been a fan of "The Ring" magazine in a long time, but I recently picked up the April 2013 issue. There is a very nice tribute to the late Arturo Gatti in it that I would recommend.
Cool, never see anyone praising Gatti, not in his lifetime nor in the last few years after he died, I must rush down to the newsagents in two months time and buy this issue.
Loved Gatti. He gets sniffed at by purists sometimes but I'd rather watch Gatti vs Ward,Rodriguez,Robinson...etc ahead of any Nicolino Locche or Wilfred Benitez fights. Give me blood,guts and action ahead of smarty pants skills, "look at me" defensive genius and moves too subtle for a dill like me to appreciate any day. That's my honest opinion but I doubt I'll be able to show my face on this forum anymore though.
