    at lightweight who wins?

if gatti trys to use boxing like how he tried to box against tracy harris-patterson then i think gatti could stop gannigan in the later rounds.

i think if they went toe to toe, i would think that gannigan could stop gatti with his difficult style and incredable power.

Gannigan was a scary puncher. Gatti had power, but not Gannigan's power. He would have to box. Gannigan could be outboxed and Gatti had enough discipline to outbox the crude Gannigan.

Ganigan's crushing southpaw left and Gatti's lack of defense aren't a good combination.

    Ganigan by mid-round stoppage IMO.

All I really remember about Gannigan is that he put Arguello on his ass, and then got sparked a couple rounds later.

He also bombed out Sean O'Grady, when O'Grady was still considered a pretty darn good fighter.

Ganigan would have killed Gatti at 135.
