Arturo Gatti against the 3 amigos?

Who do you think will win at Super Featherweight, 130 lbs.

All in their primes (or maybe slightly past prime for Barrera and Morales).
    Let's say

    >> The Gatti who fought Ruelas and Rodriguez.
    >> vs.
    >> The Barrera who fought Morales the 3rd time.
    >> The Morales who fought Pacquiao the 1st time.
    >> And the Marquez who fought Pacquiao the 2nd time.

And how do you think it will play out?
Gatti is so much bigger against the 3 mexicans,
and that could only be his biggest hope,
combined with his heart and courage.

Barrera would be slick for him and bust him up. Although Gatti was a Big puncher at JL, Barreras chin was very good and could probably even beat Gatti at his own game. This would look like a mismatch at times but at others Gatti would make some rallys to creep back in the fight. After 9 great rounds (mostly won by Barrera). The ref rescues Gatti.

Marquez would outclass him and also stop him, although Marquez was succeptible to getting clocked, you cant count out Gatti landing a hail mary. But the more likely outcome would be midrounds or late stoppage for Marquez.

IF Erick fights a disciplined fight he would stop Gatti late. If he dukes it out he still wins but it would be a war in a classic.

All 3 are on another level your talking about first ballot HOF and greats. If Gatti gets in the Hall it will be because of the blood and guts warrior that he was not because of his skills.

He'd probably lose to them all but he might very well dump them all on their ass at least once during the fight.

His best chance would have been with Morales IMO. Eric tended to trade more than he should have, and Gatti was a monster puncher. I've always said Gatti was one of the most devestating punchers of that era, just look at his KO rate, and I mean actual KO's not TKO. When he clocked a guy that was it.

Loses to all but probably has a sensational go of it against Morales!

Interesting thing about gatti i noticed. The guy seemed to have alot of skills and tools in the early part of his career. Was it just his tendency to brawl which turned him into a blood and guts warrior or was he always like that?

Alot of it was a lack of discipline. It's pretty well known that Gatti partied more than he trained back in the day, so he would just go into the ring the day of the fight and use his stregth and power to try for the KO. Your skills don't need to be that sharp when you have a great chin and one punch KO power.

The combination of his partying, stuggling to make weight, and the wars he fought all resulted in a deterioration of his overall skills.

arturo would be the underdog in all 3,but he'd be the liviest underdog ever.all these fights would be classic,id pick mab & jmm to outpoint gatti, whereas i think morales would go into a war with him & id pick gatti to win late, not because he was a better fighter but a shootout at 130 favours gatti

Gatti has his moments but gets outskilled by all three. His size and power gives him a puncher's chance but in most cases he won't be landing more than one or two flush shots against any one of those guys, and that wouldn't be enough to stop them.

Gatti will definitely lose in the scorecards but the definitely has that one punch to put the 3 amigos to sleep after falling behind in points.

They all beat him...just a different level. I'd pick Morales to pull off the biggest win out of the three though.
