Corrales via vicious beating. Watch his destruction of Manfredy, a guy that stopped Gatti and had better boxing skills. His punches are too short and too powerful for a guy as easily hit as Gatti.

Gatti had amazing heart, amazing spirit, but was at best a very GOOD fighter...never a GREAT fighter. He couldn't beat a prime Corrales, although he'd never stop trying.

Corrales, but Gatti would have a puncher's chance.

I'd take Corrales as well but Gatti was heavy handed and Corrales didn't have the greatest chin so Gatti had the proverbial "punchers chance".

My prediction would be Corrales mid rounds TKO.

Gatti was a little tougher and in my mind fought the better guys. I pick Gatti by knockout.

Considering Corrales destroyed Angel manfredy, who put on a manhandle clinic on Gatti.. This one should be easy .. Corrales by 4th round stoppage.

    Say goodbye to your credibility.

Getting a little tired of hearing that Diego had a weak chin too. He was KO'd exactly ONCE, by the best punch ever thrown by a monstrously powerful left hooker in JLC, who didn't even TRY to make weight for the fight. He took everything Mayweather could throw at him, and he took vicious shots from Clottey all night long. He took shots that would KO damn near any human being from JLC in their first fight, gave as good as he got and was the only one left conscious at the end of the night. Where the **** did this idea come from that Diego had a shaky chin?

I dunno, maybe the fact he was knocked down 13 times in 6 fights by the four toughest fighters he fought (Mayweather x5, Castillo x3, Casamayor x3, Clottey x2) :deal

The majority of those knockdowns came from left hooks. Gatti had one of the best left hooks in the sport. I feel he had the resilience to not be blown away by Chico and could catch Chico anytime, who was not only susceptible to being clocked by a good left hook but also at making his fights into a brawl. Gatti was a pretty strong 135lber himself. I don't care what anyone says, bringing up the Manfredy fight, calling Gatti a bum, etc.. Gatti would have a chance every second this fight goes.

People are acting like Chico was on another level to Gatti. If he was, it was not by much. Corrales himself fell well short of an elite fighter imo. He blew people away early on due to his freakish size at 130. When he moved up and fought the best guys who could handle his size he didn't fare too well. (3-5 vs Mayweather, Castillo, Casamayor, Freitas, Clottey.. one of those wins being an absolute miracle/fluke of a knockout vs Castillo in a fight he was about to lose)

Gatti was a B+ fighter at best, if you consider Manfredy an A fighter and Chico was waaaay better. He disposed of Manfredy with ease, and would do it 1000 times out of 1000, Gatti would be even easier. All the guys you name here would crush Gatti like a grape, in a massacre. Also, if you think that KO was a fluke then I guess you only watched the 12th rd.

A Corrales hater lol... what a dick.

Not a Corrales hater, I liked him when he was fighting, true warrior..I just don't rate him as highly as you do. Crush Gatti like a grape? Seems like your the one doing the hating. I would pick those guys over Gatti, but not by the massacre you're predicting. But with Chico I just think he can be caught with the left hook too easy and I can see Gatti doing it if he isn't overwhelmed by Chico's size, which I think he won't be. I'm not arguing that Corrales shouldn't be favorite. I'm predicting an upset

You my man are crazy. To call Corrales - Castillo 1 a fluke is a disgrace to boxing.

2nd. take a look at Gatti - Ward and try to comprehend what bernie is telling you about how Gatti can not cope with an elite fighter. Watch Ward body him, look at Gatti's defense or lack there of. Against a club fighter. What is it that your not understanding. There really is no sense in thinking Gatti could beat Corrales.

Manfredy also hurt him to the body numerous times, so what? Corrales from what I remember was a head hunter and willing to go to war with anybody. I think that would be a mistake with Gatti who could absorb an inhuman amount of punishment while still being dangerous. I think he could eventually check Coralles' shaky chin with his monstrous left hook, which Corrales was susceptible to being hit with, you cannot deny this. That Bernie guy thinks Gatti would be crushed, but tell me when he has been physically overwhelmed at 130-135 by anybody? When he lost he was outboxed and hit alot by quick and smart boxers (Manfredy, Ivan Robinson x2). Even in those fights he was always dangerous and always the aggressor till the end. And he was probably weight drained at that point as he moved up straight after those 3 losses on the trot. Just my opininion anyway.

I like gatti and all but But CHico Obliterates him in less then 4 rounds. this would not be a war it would be an Old Skool Beat Down. Don't Kid yourself. Gatti, although an entertaining fighter is not on Chico's level. it's no Disrespect just fact.

People are Sympathy voting for Gatti. again no disrespect as i loved to watch him fight but it is no Underestimation that he catches a beat down. what i noticed also is people are so careful to tip toe around both fighters name (cause both have died )they even come up with the "not sure but it would be a war" what i don't get is since when has gatti ever recked some one on Diego's level? since when has Gatti ever survived agaist a bigger ,faster and more powerful fighter ? man just look at the stats and resume ,styles and talent difference. there is no comparison
