Augustus was not robbed in all his losses. He was a decent fighter but not as good as Gatti. I think Gatti would probably hurt him badly.
well he was robbed in alot of them but not all of em but i def picking gatti ud but it would be an awsome war :good
Gatti. As much as I love Emanuel, Gatti was simply better. Gatti in boxing mode would take a decision in a spirited battle. I don't think Gatti would KO him.
These two guys had totally different careers. I think if Augustus was ushered in as the superstar that Gatti was, his career would be a lot different. He had to take crap fights all the time for short money. There's no way he was able to go into all those fights 100 percent focused and motivated. Plus he got robbed A LOT!! But he was damn good. I think he was on Gatti's level in boxing ability and better defensively. He couldn't crack as hard, but I think if Manfredy can beat Gatti, so could Augustus. It would have been a great fight.
If both are forced to come in at similar weights at fight time...it is a toss up. If Gatti "hydrates" 15 lbs, then Gatti wins.
Gatti. He was just better. Augustus is fun to watch but honestly I don´t think he was ever better than fringe contender level, even at his best.
I don't think Gatti was better, Augustus certainly did allot better against Mayweather. Most the time Augustus would take fights on pratically no notice, show up and beat a future world champion only to be shafted by the judges
Bodhi trolling again, you do realise you bring zero input to the forum other than trolling don't you?
Gatti had to take **** fights too in the beginning of his career. So the Mayweather fight is the barometer of the their entire careers? What about the other 33 losses Augustus had? All bad decisions?
