    :yep I actually think Arturo anytime between DLH to Mayweather would be able to meet Maidana coming forward with enough hard combos and lateral movement (in spurts) to win in some fashion on most given nights. Maidana wouldn't necessarily overpower him, as Gatti was hardly weak at 140 despite it being heavier than optimal for him.

    Awesome fight, indeed.

    Yea, I want to say Gatti scoops a decent amount of rounds out boxing Maidana, but as BE said, once Maidana lands, Gatti will more than likely oblige him, starting a war.

    I guess it depends on when the war started, as in, how soon Maidana could start landing power shots on Gatti, that would determine the latter rounds, or lack there of.

    This is insane, how are you people picking Gatti?

    He does not have the power to hurt someone like Maidana nor the boxing skill to be fleet-footed for 12 rounds.

    Neither necessarily needs to be true.

    Since when are styles in boxing boiled down to such either-or scenarios? :huh

    Gatti wasn't some shrinking violet who would be up ****'s creek if a heavy hitter managed to land on him here and there.

    I know that but he still had plenty left in reality @ 140, but assuming there was a time Gatti was in his prime @ 140, how do you think that'd go?

    Woooo **** this would be a great fight.
    I got to give it a 40-60 chance with it going to Maidana. I wouldn't even pick a winner in this one.

    Maidana by TKO or possibly even KO.

    Gatti was as true SFW. Up at the higher weights his power was obviously not the best. Also he was pretty chinny up there. He would get KD several times leading to a stoppage.
    His style is also perfect for Maidana.

    I really need to get a DVD set of Gatti. Whats a good website. It would be awesome to get it in HD too.
