Arturo Gatti will be eligible for the HOF next year, does he get in or not?

    Two time world champion ,he's in no doubt.
    Brought us great fights who can forget him.

    For as much as irespect Wards toughness,Gread body punching, and abiltiy to excite the fans.. We should draw the line fight there. ID vote No on that one.. Wards career was up and down and for a good part earlier in his career he was just a tough test for prosects. Later he moved up to being a gate keeper ,, then briefly a top contender... The belt he won was not a real recognized title.. Gatti accomplished far more than Ward.. Wards wasnt even known by the casual fan until his wars with Gatti who proved to be the better fighter in the last 2 fights, when he used his superior skills. .. I dont thinnk Ward was any better than Maidana, in fact Maidana has never had long losing streaks like Ward, and never considered a gate keeper or stepingstone... I think people are stretching it now.. maybe it was the movie and Ward being such alikeable guy,and blue collar tye guy.

    Yes, Gatti carried boxing on his shoulders for a long time. Its more what he did for boxing than what he accomplished. Its crazy.

    very few left more of them self in ring than gatti he personifies the word fighter an to top all of it of he was a two divison world champ with wins over tracy harris patterson ,gabriel ruelas,jesse james leija,an joey gamache all former champs he deserves hof status
