ive purposely left lightweight(2 wins/3 losses)&welterweight(2 wins/3 losses) from the options, imo his best weights were 130&140:

    his 130 highlights:
    IBF Champion
    W12 Tracy harris patterson X2
    KO 6 Wilson rodriguez
    TKO 5 Gabe ruelas

    his 140 highlights:
    WBC Champion
    W10 Micky ward X2
    KO 2 Leonard dorin
    W12 Gianluca branco
    KO 2 Joey gamache
    KO 5 Jesse james leija

    whats your opinion?:think

Mmm took 130lbs, but looking at record, its 140lbs.

He looked so bad against floyd, its tough for me to say 140lbs.

    130 I'd say

More notable wins at 140, but the manner of them were less convincing IMO

He was also beaten down BRUTALLY by Mayweather at 140, and was in line for a fight with Hatton in late '05/early '06

God knows what would have happened there

He lost to King Solomon at 126.And you can add the Calvin Grove fight cuz it was in his 130 days only it wasn't a title defence.130 lbs era was his best.

the king solomon fight was at 130

the grove fight was non title as you said but the reason being was because it was made at lightweight

either way i appreciate your input with you being a fellow gatti fan:good

ill just add that the reason i voted 140 was because of the way he turned his career around at that weight,he basically gave himself a second career in the top tier.

One of the main reasons behind his comeback was Buddy McHirt and stop partying all night.

no doubt,i dont think its a coincidence that once he started living the life he stopped getting cut in every fight.
