RIP ARTURO! WE GONNA MISS YOU! That make me so sad. I remember when i meet him the first time. Cool dude, very nice. Montreal will miss you.
I heard on radio that upcoming story was on boxing great found dead in anothe rcountry under suspicious circumstances. I', going through old timers in my head, I'm thinking old time boxers, was shocked then they said Gatti.
People say the **** so much that it has become a cliche to say, "but the good die young" I'm not talking about behavioral l wise cause we all **** up...but damn. Rest in Peace champ
I was never a huge fan of Arturo Gatti and never ranked him above a B+ level as a boxer. I enjoyed his trilogy with Ward, especially the first fight. However, I was a fan and am shocked and saddened to hear of his death and the apparent circumstances. Coming on the heels of Arguello's death, it seems this is a sad time for boxing. Despite never having the skills to be a superstar, the man had a warrior's heart and mentality and had just finished his very exciting career. He should be just settling in to enjoy his retirement. Instead, he's gone. RIP Arturo.
His heart made up what he lacked in skills. Never was a huge fan either but im extremely shocked to see one of the most undeniably exciting fighters ever die so young. Even more shocked that its most likely a murder.
I'm shocked, Gatti was just enjoying his retirement and he was the last boxer I expected to go. RIP a man who had the heart and warrior spirit to carry boxing.
Horrible news. I found about about it on the Showtime telecast and couldn't believe it and had to rewind it to hear it again. I hope this gets thoroughly investigated because it sounds too fishy. Arturo didn't deserve to go out like that. RIP Champ.
