    just my two cents...

i think the reaction boxing fans will have to gattis death will show that he was as essential to boxing as delahoya was during their time on top.

Seems to be spate of stars getting killed by their wife. The other week there was the case with McNair and now this. Tragic.

gatti gave boxing fans everything everytime. i would rather watch him in a fight he was losing then any of my other favs winning. i site gatti vs robinson 1 and 2. he changed so many of my fringe fan friends into real fans. and my wife would say about any ppv "is it like a gatti fight?". enough said, i'll miss you champ.

****ing sucks. I heard this mentioned on TV in a bar Saturday while being half drunk so I thought maybe I had heard wrong. I got home and checked, and sure enough, it was all over. Can't believe it. One of my favorite fighters ever. I remember seeing him first on HBO in 1996 and became a fan instantly, following his career until the close in 2007......wasn't the greatest fighter, obviously, but that didn't matter. Not the way he fought and the entertainment he provided.

    R.I.P

very sad indeed. shocking. Gatti was pure entertainment and a solid fighter. what a tragedy. heard they are holding his wife. Popo Frietas said Gatti and his wife were having problems. Apparently he was strangled with a purse strap or something....

not the greatest but without doubt one of the most beloved, friendliest, nicest, most humble superstars boxing has ever produced. Arthur Gatti boxing will always love you,
