its bad when legends die, its even worse when it was apparantly possible suicide (arguello) but murder is just so ****ed up
Easy cowboy, my most recent ex-girlfriend is brazilian and she doesn't give a **** about money. Anyway, this is some sad ****. But for the one who said that the scene confirmed it, all they did was repeat a report from brazil, they didn't know for sure yet. Their article said that they'd contacted Kathy Duva, who used to be his promoter, and while she couldn't confirm the news for sure yet, she did say Gatti spends a lot of time in Brazil. Looks likely that this is true. RIP Gatti

You'll be missed champ RIP The closest thing to 'Rocky' we've ever seen in real life. My video I made of him about a year back.....think it's fitting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3E0XrmgKOU
One of my all time favs and one of my first early introductions into Boxing.I will never forget a young Gatti fighting on USA's Tuesday Night Fights and showing in his 2nd fight what was to come his entire career. This always sucks but unlike Patterson or Arguello i grew up on Gatti which bugs me more. R.I.P Champ..on his way to the H.O.F before death he should be immortalized for sure now.Gatti wasnt an A+ level talent but his contributions to Boxing were A+.
Folks we live in a very violent world. We are fans of a violent sport. gatti was a violent guy in and out of the ring. he gave us some great fights, but I am not surprised by the information.
RIP Gatti http://www.fightnews.com/?p=17028 Found by his mrs in his rented flat with head injury. On there honeymoon how sad.
