If you are a christian, committing suicide is taking a life, which automatically condemns you to hell. Gatti ain't in heaven.

Murder = bad.

Ending a human life isn't always murder. Self-defense, war, pulling the plug on someone who's vegged out - there are lots of contexts where ending a human life is justifiable and not murder. A monster stopping themselves from doing any more harm to themselves or others has to be considered one.

 

there are a lot of religions including The Amish that believe murder in any matter ,self-defense or not is still a sin.

Valero by KO is a silly pick regardless. The man was a big puncher at SFW. Gatti doesn't get seriously hurt - let alone knocked out - by a lightweight Valero...let alone a light welterweight (which we never saw...but presumably would've had even less pop than the version that fought Pitalua and DeMarco).

Taking a life doesn't automatically condemn you to hell based on the christian faith. If you read the bible Moses actually killed 2 people....Because they were abusing his people (whom were slaves at the time). David (the one who beat Goliath, and later became King) got a married woman pregnant, and had her husband killed. These guys are in the BIBLE!!
So, taking a life doesn't necessarily mean your going to hell. If you change your ways, ask for forgiveness (and mean it in your heart), and walk with God you can be forgiven. It's taking YOUR OWN life that is supposed to condemn you to hell. As to why the bible says I'm not sure (and to lazy to look it up).
I'd imagine though that it's because God is your creator, he gave you life, and it's the ultimate slap in the face for his creation to end there own lives! I'm certain that nobody hear would want to waste lots of time creating something, caring for it, and it'd choose to blow itself up. I'm sure anybody who likes something like plants, gardens, flowers would want to grow these things, and they'd choose to die (if they could)...Or even like for them to die to begin with.

 

Gatti will beat the pants off of Valero.
