Great article. Wait until someone like Max Kellerman gives an interview or works another HBO fight. He is going to have a field day with this.

Who are these multitude of *******s who supposedly are defending the fight with mosley? Most of the pac fans I see on here can be relatively objective when it comes to this sham of a fight. Two fighters in a row who are ****ing TOTALLY undeserving a title shot, let alone with the top p4p guy going.

I hope there is a massive boycott of this fight and it does horrendous numbers.

Arum's was the loudest voice in the media...protesting Floyd's demand. All the arbitrator did was keep people honest (particularly Team Pac) for the remainder of those negotiations. They were evidently already dead set at moving on, before the negotiations, officially, ended.

I think Mosley is at least as likely to defeat Pacquiao as Marquez, who was unable to do it in two tries when he was a younger fresher fighter closer to his prime.

I'm not saying Mosley vs Pac makes a worthy fight, but I don't think Marquez vs Pac is one either.

dude, its Bob Arum. He's a freakin' Promoter. He's been full of sh*t since day 1. His job is to promote and sell a crappy fight.

People will buy it hook, line and sinker come May 7th.

You really believe that? Arum turned down a chance to be a part of the richest fight in boxing history when he said that he wanted nothing to do with Mayweather/Hoya fight talking about you got to know when to fold them. That's why Mayweather left his ass and went on to make the fight and millions without his ass.

We would have seen Mayweather-Cotto, Margarito etc...if it weren't for Arum being a selfish, greedy, slimy piece of ****.

Arum manipulates facts and information in general when it benefits or suites his ideas and preferences, no doubt.

Old news for Arum. But Pac is starting to look like puppet in many eyes.

Most Pac fans that know boxing know Arum is ****. They probably aren't defending him, but they'll watch the fight regardless because it's Pacquiao.

Berto and Marquez are probably equally as intriguing to the average Pac fan (though fewer of them are aware of Berto's existence), but regardless of how they think about those matchups, the fight will be bought.

Only hardcore fans care about the matchup, and Arum only cares about the casuals. That's not defending Arum though, that's just explaining what we all already know.

As for Pac, he probably wanted this fight personally because he thinks it'll be exciting. I'm actually willing to bet that Arum really did bring up the three fighter proposals just to make a show of it while knowing for a fact that Pacquiao wanted the Mosley fight the most.
