I dont want to see any of them fools. Haymon has got to take over this, i think he will. Broner-Vargas would be good :bbb:bbb

If Lomachenko and Gamboa are on the undercard that would be awesome, I wouldn't even really care who they're fighting.

Some prelims on CBS? So awesome!

Anybody else find it "convenient" that these network deals with CBS and NBC (not really a factor with this point, but it happened) have come to fruition right before the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight?

Just hear this thought out: Moonves playing the go between "If you want to see your fighters on prime time CBS, (Haymon and Arum) you're going to play ball and make this fight happen." I know this isn't exactly right given Haymon signed the deal BEFORE anything was announced, but the two events are certainly not far apart.

i.e - Do me this favor now, and get this network deal done. And I will deliver Mayweather for a Pacquiao fight. Same could be said with Arum... Get my fighters on the CBS network for future events, and I'll deliver Pacquiao.

It just seems like all the right palms were greased so to speak. Just IMO. Feels like there was some serious deal making behind closed doors that we'll never know about.

How about Maidana-Provo? Both from Haymon and TR.

Then they'll hear about his ameteur pedigree and watch him fight, then it will be clear that they're watching a seriously talented (and entertaining) boxer.

Most "really big" fights like this one don't have stellar undercards, because there's no money left to pay top fighters to appear on the undercard. All the money is being split by the two stars.

It's always been like that. What was the chief support to the Ali-Frazier 1 fight? Can you name anyone on the undercard? What about Ali-Foreman? Foreman-Frazier 1 & 2? What about all three Bowe-Holyfield fights? De La Hoya-Trinidad? How about Mayweather-De La Hoya ... the "last big" fight to save boxing?

Can anyone name who fought on the undercard of Mayweather-De La Hoya?

If you get a "name" fighter, he's fighting someone he'll knock over in a round or two.

In fights like this, the two main event boxers and their people want to squeeze every last dollar out of it for themselves.

If there is an undercard fight on CBS, it'll probably be better than the undercard fights that air later the same evening on the PPV telecast. It's part of a separate deal. So that CBS fight isn't taking any money out of the "mouths" of the main eventers. It's more of an advertisement to get people to buy the fight that night.

So look for the network undercard fight to be the best undercard bout. If history is any indication.

I'll take Mikey Garcia. I like Loma but he's not too interesting to me unless he's matched up with a good opponent.
