including marquez, this basically means pac would retire late 2013 when he would be almost 35.
After marquez they want the ortiz/floyd winner besides that other future opponents include mike jones, cintron, bradley.

So who would you like to see him fight?
    Marquez-floyd- bradley-mike jones- canelo:deal

I hope not, but it will be difficult for pac to win all these fights. Even if he beats may arum will set him up vs tough rising contenders to create a new superstar.

no no, mayweather fight has priority that should be really be tried to make at leats one final time for early 2012, after that if teh fight isnt close then it doesnt matter much more who he fights doesnt it? he can chose whoever he wants after that. mike jones is a upcoming a boxer in the 147 division, right now the fight is meaningless if the guy gets some good wins and develops more I dont see why it couldnt happen in 2013.

Good news. Would be a shame for him to retire this year.

I think his best bet is establish a quality legacy at welterweight. Any weight jumping should be a one off bout at middleweight and hopefully a swansong.

    I'd say

Marquez, winner of floyd/ortiz, bradley, winner of berto/zavek, martinez.

Doing that should leave him with a very good ww legacy and a win-win legacy defining fight up at 160.

    Mike Jones? Why not?
Damn, let's get rid of the "he ain't done **** to get a shot at pac". It already came to the point that its very hard to find someone to put against pac except for the obvious.

I only hate the Cintron pick. Another dive anyone?

They have said Mayweather has priority for the last 16 months, and to be honest its complete bull****.

In the last few weeks, no only has mike jones been a prospective opponent but kermit cintron and carlos baldomir.:huh

The fact that your are proposing a fight with Mike Jones at this stage of his career, (only when arum mentions him) shows you have bought into this damn propaganda and are helping to reignite the fools who buy anything with pac but the fight the fans want to see.

I think he should only have one or two more fights after Marquez. Explosive fighters don't do well if they stick around til age 35. The Mayweather/Ortiz winner then maybe a farewell in the Philippines vs Bradley or Canelo would be the perfect swansong to the greatest career since SRL.

Mike Jones?! That guy who got his ass beat by Soto-Karass and whose best win is over an old Henry Bruseles, and who still fights guys with records like 22-13-1?!!

Enough of that **** now. :nono

Pac isn't going to close his career out fighting non-entities like Mike Jones.

look arum will always put pac vs fighters of his own company before others, thats why cintron and jones are even mentioned.
If canelo and maidana were toprank fighters he would mention them.
At this point we just habe to hope that they make pac vs floyd early 2012 if they both win, there is to much money involved for arum to let that go.
Early 2008 you would have been laughed at when you suggest pac as a credible opponent for floyd at welter. If mike jones puts on several good wins there is no reason why he couldnt be relevant in 2013 right? I mean berto was a possible opponent before he lost to ortiz and what did he accomplish? I dont see any harm in looking fighters potential as a opponent in a few years if pac vs floyd happens before.

So who cares what Arum will do, with fans like you its not even surprising, people with similar thought processes to you will continue to ramble on about the Mike Jones of the world deserving to fight pac because of him sharing the same promoter, well ... if thats how gullible you are then thats just the way it is, but please dont talk about it on a boxing forum where topr rank workers browse daly knowing they ca explit fans for **** heads who will buy anything give to them.

Mike jones aint putting on several good wins against nobody, so cut that **** out, like i said that guy was not even on the radar until Arum mentioned him and now people will be talking as if he deserves a shot, despoite not beating and not having any World rated fights on the horizon.

There should be one fight being made, the rest ca come after that.
