Arum: 50/50 And Pacquiao-Mayweather is ON!

hmm says... even though Arum said Pac deserves the lion share and PBF is high, he realizes the anticipation of the fight and doing us boxing fans a huge favor by having a change of heart (I know ppl hate his ass). This is indeed the fight of the decade and this shows that he is a reasonable person. 50-50, I hope the Mayweather camp will do the same to make this fight happen; otherwise it'll just be ridiculous....especially with the recent fiasco with low ticket sales.....

 

You're wrong, amigo. Floyd needs certified crowd drawer like Hatton and Oscar for his fight to draw ticket and PPV buyers. His postponed fight w/ JMM clearly showed that his name cannot draw ticket buyers. 50/50 is fair but if Pac insists on 52/48, he fairly deserves it.

 

I guess the old adage, to be the man, you've got to beat the man just doesn't apply any more.

 

This is interesting to me, since in another thread you served up that weight loss should not be an excuse if Pac beats Cotto:

If Fighter A beats Fighter B... Fighter A should get the full credit. If Pac KOs Cotto , regardless of the weight, he should be praised. That Pac beat Oscar and Ricky more convincingly than Floyd is fact. All fans should just accept that.
