I'm sure it can work like that. Winky Wright Promotions also used GBP as the main promoter for some fights. The thing is that if Cotto is smart he will have GBP invest in him and will have them bring him along in the latter part of his career..

Difference between Cotto and Mayweather, is that Cotto isn't in a position to call shots like Mayweather. Cotto will need favors.

GBP certainly is Floyd's promoter. Just because Margarito (Tornado promotions), Cotto, Mosley, Marquez etc... etc ...etc...are all registered promoters, it doesnt make them real promoters
