I'm on record in saying that this fight will get made eventually. I've always said it's not a question of "if" but "when" and that any decisions until then is a business one. That's why I always laugh off all this "ducking" bull****. But it's funny to me that Floyd fans could so easily be swayed into thinking that based off a couple of tweets. It's called posturing, a battle to win the public perception battle. At the end of the day, this is a business and there is politics involved. And essentially that's what's happening here. Ideally, TR wants to have all the promotional rights to themselves. GBP's animosity towards TR just corraborates that. Now the main point of contention is, in this tread anyways, is that TR wants to only deal with Floyd or to at least let them know who is directly representing him 'coz apparently TR doesn't even know who that is. With that in mind, and also the fact that Floyd has a direct line to TR's president, why is it so "stupid" to give the man a call? And look at this thread, it seems like it's more important to these ***** dicks to believe that Pac is ducking despite being presented with a tangible scenario in which the fight could get made.

Exactly, but I've already accepted the fact that Arum will not make the fight. I really hope I'm wrong though.

Some of the excuses being used by the *******s in this thread are hilarious, keep them coming.

You may think it's going to be made eventually, but the events that have occurred since this show started would indicate otherwise.

Everyone is frustrated with Arum at this point. Only reason you're not is because you defend manny regardless of what happens. Ever since floyd mentioned he was interested in fighting manny, Arum has lied and given hundreds of excuse as to why the fight can't be made. He's contradicted himself on everything he has said. Why would anyone think he is genuine when he says he's interested in making the fight? Everyone is tired of his bull**** and want him to start getting **** done instead of continuing of making excuses for why the fight can't be done.

    You are an idiot.

Like HBO supposedly negotiated with the PBF camp?
Or when Koncz supposedly initiated negotiation with PBF?

Do you even work in the business or are you just a forum warrior?

I work in TV, including live events. Do you know how many people claim they are "investors" or "producers" or a "rep" or know some?

If you ****ing spend 30 seconds with every dick that claims to be one then you are idiot.

Would you negotiate with Koncz? If you say yes, then you are a ****ing idiot. There is only one man that officially reps Pac - that is Arum.
There is only one person that reps PBF. That is PBF.

You guys do know that Schaefer is hired PER FIGHT basis right? There is no long term contract with him and PBF.

And to those saying Pac can't negotiate or rep himself - yes that is like true.
Most of this promotional contracts actually say you can't negotiate a fight without the permission of your promoter. Have you guys even worked in the production side of live event business?

How much control does pac have over his own career? Do you think he would be better off without Arum?

It depends on the contract, which is not public, but going with typical high profile promotion companies it actually states that the boxer cannot negotiate by themselves or use any individual or party other than the promotional company.

The fighter can say no to a fight but often he does not have a choice unless he does not want to food on the table. Not like he can say no to choice A and go find another fight. They don't fight they dont earn money.

Does Shaefer have a history with PBF that says hey this guy has clout and part of the PBF inner circle? Yes. Absolutely.

Was Schaefer involve in a negotiation that everyone thought was happening including Arum, HBO executives, Scheafer, and the rest of the world then several days later PBF claims that he was not part of? Yes.

So if you are Arum, would you take a verbal from Schaefer in this 3rd or 4th round of negotiation????
If you said yes, then I got a bridge to sell to you.

Arum claimed just over one year ago that he negotiated a Mayweather fight with Ross Greenburg. HBO's head executive for boxing.

Did Greenburg promote Mayweather? Did Greenburg have a signed contract?

    Ok then.

Greenburg acts as a mediator for both negotiating camp.

Why would Oscar said that the fight is close to being made over the mexican tv, if they don't have a hand over it.

Floyd's alibi after a few months... Al Hymon were not contacted hence a negotiation never happened.

Arum is the only lying senile old fart right?

    **** off idiots.

exactly what ive been saying the whole time. Arum wants the fight he just doesn't want Schaefer in the picture. he figures if floyd doesn't have a multi fight deal then there no use splitting the pot with gbp. meanwhile Schaefer will never let this fight happen unless he has his cut
