Its easy to bash the fight with Rubio but lets wait and see how he is on Saturday...I would rather Pavlik fight a worth contender and Abraham than to wander around beating faded legends

He should fight Abraham, Then if the Calzaghe fight can be made get it done, Then move up to SMW for Kessler,Bute,Froch etc.

 

Look man you obviously don't keep up on the recent history or the countless contradictions by Joe.. Pavlik and Kessler are different in many ways so that comparison means ****.....Pavlik shares as many similarities with Joe as he does with Mikkel....so yes its a very simple minded comparison

Joe was quoted before pavlik beat the snot out of his buddy Lockett that he would fight him.

After lockett was beat rather easily Joe hasnt said one word. He even fired his trainer--enzo hasnt said anything and lockett was quoted to saying that Pavlik hits like a mule. Bronco Mckart had said the same thing but no one listened. The fight will never happen and theres been countless discussions about why it wont--but the bottom line is Joe wont dare fight him.

Joe can talk **** with the best of them i am well aware, ive followed his career for 9 years, not 9 months. My original post wasnt a pop at Pav, but at the thought of a Pav-Rubio/Ornelas fight before AA and Joe. The Cal-Pav fight was not dead in the water, but on the backburner, If pavlik KO's Hop and joe beats Roy the noise from people would be enough to get Joe in the ring, his ego couldnt take it. My comment about Pavlik in regards to Kessler were crass,but provoked, the accusation he would be scared to fight someone who IMO is less dangerous than the last 2 opponents caused it. Cal and Pav share excellent Workrate, but thats it. They're very different
