Be patient Bigbone...I feel Pavlik-Abraham NEEDS to happen as well. But this is good news mate. I had my doubts whether or not this fight would happen but this is a good reminder that it will:good

God!!!! Don't guys have any common sense:twisted: Pavlik has to fight Rubio or lose WBC title there no ducking going on here:nono The only way Pavlik can fight Abraham next is if Kelly drops the WBC title and lets Rubio fight David Lopez for the vacant WBC title or Pays off Rubio to wait untill other 6 months for shot at the WBC title:bart

Part of the problem is that in this kind of game, you can only go 3 to 4 times a year max if you are fighting top level. When you get AA postponing his fight, that really throws a ****** wrench into the works. Do you really believe AA will be ready to go January 24 now? Arum has had that HBO date for MONTHS. That is the earliest HBO would give him for the fight. So, both guys have had that to work with for a while now. That date has been there for a long time and I think both fighters have had it in the back of their minds.

Plus, it opens the door for a Joe/Kelly fight. I get the impression that is the fight Pavlik wants above all others. And that fight really can't wait if it is going to happen at all. Which I doubt, but with Joe running his mouth so much about Kelly, I would like to be believe it could happen. :yep

The bottom line is Pavlik likes being middleweight champ he is not going give any of his middleweight titles untill can't make weight anymore but half the time he will jump up in weight to fight guys like Hopkins and Calzaghe.
After the Hopkins fight a window will open for the Rubio fight for Pavlik as Abraham will fighting Marquez and Calzaghe will fighting Jones in Nov so Pavlik will Rubio in Jan. After that most likely Pavlik will fight Calzaghe as that were the money is for both men. Then we will see Pavlik fight Abraham and Zbik at 160:deal Then I think Pavlik start to fight the likes of Kessler, Bute, Foch and Dawson 2010:good

Unification equals a mandatory so Pavlik don't have to fight Rubio/Ornelas before Abraham but could go right for the fight.

He is only a nobody because everyone ducks him, Inkin and Taylor shamefully ducked him, Inkin even created an injury to get out of a fight with the Cobra.

Nobody wants to see Froch, and Kessler is down the line. The fight fans want to see is Pavlik-Abraham.

I think Pavlik will take the fight with Calzaghe if offered then Rubio will fight Lopez for the vacant WBC title at 160 but Pavlik will get keep WBO 160 title.:hat
