That's what pacquiao gets for signing a year extension with that cockroach.
A soft touch retirement party. Now i hope marquez really beat his ass

What's wrong with Rios if he wins vs. Alvarado?

If Pac wins, he should fight Floyd and Floyd only; Same with Floyd, his next fight should be against Pac and Pac only. They have to find a way to terms period. Or else its gonna open the doors for many other fights not to continue not to be made. All they will have to do is price themselves out and there your have a duck.

Uh because Rios would be 1-1 in his last two, with his victory coming over a guy outside of the top 5 a division below Pacquiao's. I don't give a crap if Rios-Alvarado lives up to the hype, there's absolutely no reason to want to see this fight.

The winner of Rios/Alvarado against Pacquiao is an awesome fight.

    Why are people complaining?

Arum said as he thinks Rios and Pac would be a good fight. I believe it was after the Acosta fight in early 2011.

Face it, it would sell. Rios has a mouth on him and some highlight reel shots for a commercial. Pac would be cast as the nice guy, and his fans would eat it up.

I've long forgotten about that fight. It's not like Rios is a bum. He is a serious contender.

i'd be excited for a Pac-Rios fight because of styles. It'd be an exciting fight and that's all that matters.

Maybe when he's able to beat up on smaller guys at 135 he's a serious contender, though Abril certainly called that into question as well. There's absolutely no reason to regard him as one by default at junior welter and welter and a win over Alvarado wouldn't suddenly have me thinking he's a real threat at 147 either.

I like it. I don't give one **** about the mayweather/pac fight anymore. Its such old news and way past when it should have happened that I just don't care. It's sickening really how much time and space all the hub bub of that non fight has garnered.

Pacquiao fighting one of these guys I would consider good. Both of them slug, and that is what Pacquiao needs in front of him to really look good. He's had too many boxers in front of him for a while now, guys that can either counter him like Marquez, or run all night. Neither of these guys will do that. It would be a good war while it lasted, and that is what I want to see. To hell with Mayweather, he's no where in the picture, he's not talking about fighting or anything. Boxing doesn't need him. He just thinks it does.

Some of you guys are funny.. Rios moving up in weight to a weight-class below Pacquiao for one fight, means he'll be a good opponent for Pac another weight-class higher if he wins? You guys bitched up and down about Ortiz moving up to 147 beating a champion and facing Floyd next, how could you approve of this? Same guys constantly bitched about Canelo fighting Lopez... Is this not pretty much the same?

    Rios has nothing for Pacquiao...

Lets see, we have bradley, berto, mathyse, alexander, judah, khan, garcia, josesito lopez, victor ortiz, cotto, floyd, kell brook, guerrero and they choose a fighter who just moved up to 140 knowing pacquiao has like 2 fights left.

    you tell me
