Arum backs Hatton for 50/50 or it's off!!

That's what's pathetically wrong wiht Arum. He never really cares about his boxers. His only point of view is th $$$ sign.
He should at least have bargained for a Pacman getting the bigger share being the no#1P4P. A 51 to 49 would at least give a sembalnce of recognitiont of Paquiao's status as well as reward him for his efforts. It would also have maintain the proper equilibrium in the boxing world. What's the sense of being the P4P if you don't have any perks to enjoy.
It would be a big insult to the Filipino people if Manny isn't given at least that bigger cut. 1% higher than Hatton would be minimal but in principle, Manny is accorded due respect as the P4P#1. He already had given away his pride by accepting a lesser percentage in the DLH fight even if he was then the P4P#1, to do it the second time around would be abusing his personality.
I think a 50 - 50 would be a mocking stock against Manny.
Make it 51% - 49% in favor of Manny and pride will be assauge as well as give recognition to the power of the P4P status which will be a precedence for the future.

I think Manny would have done better if he were with GBP...

Yes it may be true, but taking into consideration Manny's status a P4P#1 and the first and only Filipino to do so, don't you think that the Filipino people are going to simply neglect the bragging rights? It only comes in a lifetime, so the Philippines should make the most of it...

 

I'm asking the Hatton's fans fair and sqaure, if you are on the other side with the same scenario, won't you ask the same, at least 51 - 49 for bragging rights?...

Hatton brings huge PPV figures over here though.

I cant remember how many buys he got on the Sky Box Office PPV over here for his fight with Floyd, but i think it was over a million which is unheard off.

I think Hatton could shift more Sky Box Office PPV's than Pac shifts HBO PPV'S

did you only read the first word of my post, the bit your on about bragging rights over money nobody gives a **** about that bit is juts about money nothing else no bragging rights. The only bragging rights go to the winner of the fight not someone who gets 1% of the purse more.:roll:
