That's only because Arum is racist against his, um, Eastern European fighter.

Dumb...Arum doesn't give a shut about your racism

Arum promoted Hitler himself (by Arum own admission...he called Mayweather Hitler), he only said bad things about Hitler...once he left him

Make Arum $ & he will go above & beyond to do all he can to keep the money coming :yep

I'm not sure if he should fight for the belt, not because he'd lose (which he most likely wouldn't), but because it doesn't really seem right to see a 1-1 guy fight for the championship (even if that guy unfairly lost). Like someone mentioned, they should get him 3 or 4 fights against some lower level guys (not some no-hopers, but some top 20 boxers) until he adapts to that so called pro style, and then get him back to fight the top guys again.

With that being said, if Gary Russell could be his opponent for that vacant belt, then forget everything said above, I'd love to see that fight happening. :)

If we're going by resumes, oddly enough, the 1-1 guy looks just as qualified to be in that fight as GRJ is.

Bob can huff and moan about Texas all he wants; he's the one who has voluntarily continued to support them even though everyone knows they're incompetent as hell there. This is like when he whined about Nevada after the Pacquiao-Bradley decision and called for investigations then fully preferred them to oversee drug testing rather than USADA or VADA.

It's easy to make an argument for Lomachenko winning the fight against Salido, who let's keep in mind came in overweight and weighed 147 on fight night.
It wouldn't seem right for Lomachenko not to get another shot in his next fight taking those factors into account, as well as the poor ref job. Salido threw a 4 punch combination below the belt, right in front of the ref in the 12th and just stood there. The incompetent ref couldn't even position himself correctly, on numerous occasions Lomachenko backed into him when getting out of the clinch.
Bring on Loma vs GRJ for the vacant title :bbb

Bob Arum is a graduate of Harvard Law School...............

I agree with Arum about losing a fight, it should not make or break a fighter, same as football, basketball, baseball, soccer, etc. I'm tired of hearing that if a fighter gets knocked out, or tko'd, esp. a cut, that he is finished. I do not hear anything about Lennox Lewis having a glass jaw, yet he was knocked out cold by Rahman and TKO'd by McCall, then there was Joe Louis who was knocked out, Tommy Hearns, you name it. This being zero losses is ruining boxing because good boxers will not fight good boxers, etc.........

Arum needs to talk Lomachenko's camp into filing a protest like many others have done. Bowe won his two fights because of low blows, not to mention so many other fights...........Salido should not be allowed to hit legs, hips, balls, etc., hitting on the break, you name it. All this is on video...........

loma lovers are complaining about the low blows but forget that holdachenko was clinching excessively for 10 rounds!!!! he was using the good old ukranian strangle hold all night!!! quit crying and get over it salido outweighed loma by 11 lbs thats nothing canelo outweighed mayweather by 15 and chavez jr outweighed martinez by 20. lomanchenko is overhyped and just not ready for the big dogs yet!!! his corner should have complained to the ref about the low blows early on. rigo and mikey would slaughter lomabunko!!!
